This has been my greatest braiding experience in decades, a true hidden gem! They were ready for me when my appointment started, no delay! They were incredibly professional and fast, finishing my box braids in less than 5 hours. I usually do not go get my hair braided because I can do it myself, but the environment was so relaxed and the stylist was so knowledgeable I might get my hair braided professionally more often. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to get their hair braided and wants a professional, relaxing experience. My braids aren't tight but the parts are very precise. When I say I am GRATEFUL to have found Gillian I am EXTREMELY GRATEFUL. To have a braider with such skill and compassion as well as professionalism it is a blessing. She has always respected my concerns with the size of braids I wanted that don't put tension on my edges. The braids are so light but still give me a full look. I have had at least 5 other knotless braiders and my braids were too thin, too heavy or weren't knotless as all. The first style I got with Gillian was bohemian knotless twists waist length and it was light and I could tie it up with not issue and no heaviness. The braids also last. I found this place on Instagram when I was looking for braiding shops, so I looked on Google to see the reviews and when I saw all the great reviews I said wow I have to come here. I called first to see if I could come in for a walk in and they told me to come in an hour’s time. When I came in, I did have to wait a while longer which was okay, as I did not have an appointment but as soon as my braider got there she started immediately and worked quickly on my hair. I have a lot of hair and it is very thick so I was impressed with how quickly she was able to do my braids. Another braider joined after my braider had to leave, and Gilly also helped and made sure my braids were perfect and from the time I came in until she finished she kept telling me how beautiful I was and made me feel like a star!! I never got this style before and I am so pleased with the work they did. They all worked as a team, even the woman that separated the hair to make sure my hair was braided to perfection. Everyone was hospitable and very complimentary and even though we finished late they allowed me to wait inside until my Uber got there. Let me tell you how I stumbled upon this gem . I originally started off at Braid 4 u they quoted me a price of 180$ and when I got to the establishment the price changed to 320$ so I was pissed and I left, I proceeded to go on google and to look for nearby shop and found this one .. Ms. Galin and her staff was so polite patient and kind and I wasn’t turned away or charged extra just because the back of my hair was short. Ms. Galin is very professional and have really good conversations. You can tell she really cares about your hair and not just trying to collect your money !!!
